Speight's Aotearoa Challenge Shield

London New Zealand Rugby Football Club (LNZRFC) is New Zealand's very own rugby club in London and is the only New Zealand side playing in the English RFU Club Championship.

The annual Speight's ANZAC Rugby Challenge will see LNZRFC 1st XV  battle against the invitation Maori Wanderers XV, for the Aotearoa Challenge Shield. This annual clash is now in its 24th year and will be played in the true spirit and style of New Zealand rugby and is guaranteed to be an entertaining game to watch.

Maori Wanderers will be out for revenge this year as after being favorites last year with mostly national league player London New Zealand showed great team spirit to course an upset and as the current holders they won't want to give up the trophy in a hurry.

The curtain raiser game will see the LNZRFC 2nd XV take London Wallabies for the ANZAC Shield.
